Meg finished the pre-tumblers 3 gymnastics class today with a mini-meet. She has definitely learned a lot. We had a fun time watching her show off her skills
Field Day 2016

Spencer had Field Day today at school. Last year it was so rainy that they moved it several times, and then ended up having it in the gym anyways. Today turned out to be a perfect day. We had quite a bit of cold and rain Saturday through Tuesday, but the sun came out today, and it was about 65 degrees. Activities included shoe-kicking, water balloon tossing, giant parachutes, plus some standards like a 400 meter dash, and some hurdles.

Happy mother’s day Clare

Meg recently read a Berenstain’s Bears book about Mother’s Day, which included making breakfast in bed of blueberry french toast for Mama Bear. She wanted to replicate it for Clare. We woke up around 7 yesterday and got to work. Meg did a wonderful job cracking 4 eggs without getting any shell in. Spencer helped a bit mixing it up, and cutting up some strawberries. Meg cut some tulips from our garden. Clare doesn’t actually like eating breakfast in bed, so we actually ate in the dining room altogether.
After church, we had Grandma Ellen and Great-grandma Dorothy over for Steak and Shrimp. It was a very nice mother’s day.
Baseball statistics
Spencer and I recently made up a new game playing baseball. We start off playing catch about 3 feet apart from each other. Every time we catch the ball, we take a step back. I thought it would be fun if we did some statistics about our performance. Today Spencer and I made a graph by hand, then we put it into a spreadsheet, and did some basic statistics
