This salad is quick to make and very tasty, as well as attractive looking.
- Chop the red onion first, and put it in a bowl (preferably glass), and add the white vinegar. Letting the onion sit for awhile in the vinegar makes it a bit milder. Then add the cucumbers, dill weed, salt and sugar. Let sit at least 30 minutes before serving. Serve with a slotted spoon.
